There is some difficulty in living in one place while having a child in school in another.  Part of that is having conflicting events.  Heidi's school carnival was on the same night as a getting to know you social in our Provo ward.  Since it helps the school, we could meet future neighbors and see Heidi's friends and we will be living there for quite some time, we chose to go to the carnival.  Not to mention that the kids were super excited about it and the social was just for the adults. Our house went through quite the changes from Sept. 20th to the 25th.  It looks like a real house! There wasn't really time to drive home after picking Heidi up so we went to the park in our new neighborhood and waited until time for the carnival.  These kids love the park!  I do too since it gives them great time to play however they want and gives them exercise at the same time.  And they can be as loud and crazy as they want. The day of the party arrived and the kids could hardly wait for Heidi's friends to come.  I was going to let her invite 6 friends for her party, but she had a few from the ward where we are living, one from a long time ago, and then she has quickly made friends from school that she didn't want to leave out so she ended up inviting 8 friends.  She had a fairy party. They sat out by the sidewalk waiting for Heidi's friends to arrive.  Weid did the balloons and crepe paper since Heidi insisted that she had to have those for decorations.  He also put it on the pillars inside and they looked great, but they were taken down so quickly after the party was over that I didn't get a picture.  It was the day of the big rivalry football game and Heidi really wanted a red balloon so it was made a little smaller than the others and put behind the bigger blue one.   We had two sets of visitors in one week, both of which we had not seen in years. Jones came from England for a late night visit, and Grinch was in town and came by for dinner (pizza provided by him).  It's always good to catch up with old friends. Our house on September 10th.  These pictures are the front of the house, the inside walls from in the kitchen, the back door and dining area (framed incorrectly and later fixed), the windows above the stairs, and the family room.   Brynlee was super cute that week.  Some people at church called her a cute pink puff ball.  She loves to stand up and is very good at it for being 5 1/2 months old.  The girls put this blue cowboy hat on her and she didn't know quite what to think of it.  Heidi's birthday fell on a Saturday this year.  There was also a home football game.  Heidi was excited about going to the football game on her birthday until that day actually came, and then she asked why we couldn't go to a game on Dad's birthday since he's the one who really loves BYU football.  I told her that he would love it if we could, but that will never happen with a birthday in July. The weather was great, but maybe a little too hot for an afternoon game.  Cougar loved every second of the game!  He loved clapping for the players, for the band, for everything!  It was his first BYU football game to go to, and since then he has loved driving by the stadium and saying "Rah, rah, rah, Goooo Cougars!" (rolling his arms and punching up his fist)  And he really loved it when they sang the Fight Song in nursery the next day. Our house finally started to look a little bit like a house. These are the changes in our house from Sept. 4-7.  Our garage was poured and the framing was started! Sept. 5th was National Cheese Pizza Day!  Of course Hailey can't have cheese, but I made her a delicious turkey and pineapple pizza that she loved. The Construction Management had a BBQ and Chili cook-off.  I was told I needed to try all of them so I made the best of it and had a chili dog with each kind of chili on a different part of it.  Some of the chili was really good, but others were very not good.  The kids played under these huge trees there at Kiwanis Park and had a blast in their own little world under there. Just as we were leaving it started to rain and this beautiful rainbow came out.  It turned into a double rainbow a few minutes later, but I love these pictures with the rainbow, the Y on the mountain, and the kids. We had such a fun weekend.  It was nice to have a few days with our family being together again and having a few days of not driving Heidi to and from school. Heidi had her first ever play date.  I got a note in her backpack one day that week asking if she could go to Brianne's house (from her mom) with a number to call to confirm.  She had a blast!  She makes friends so easily.  When we went to pick her up she was able to go out and feed a carrot to the horse with Hailey.  I actually ended up feeding them to the horse because they got scared as soon as it came over but they still enjoyed it.  And Heidi surprised us by having this paper in her bag informing us that she was the Student of the Week for her class that week, otherwise we might never have known.  It was the first full week of school and the first week of choosing Students of the Week.  We are so proud of her for being such a wonderful girl in school and at home!  All of ...

Brynlee was so excited to go to her first BYU football game! She looked cute and was ready to cheer for our Cougars!  I put the other kids to bed (since the game didn't start until 8:15 and Jodi was home) and headed to the stadium.  Weid had been there for a while since he had been practically counting down the days until this day for the last several months. Brynlee loved every second of it!  She slept through the second quarter, but the rest of the game she was super happy and looking around at everything that was going on from her nice spot in the Snugli.  People were very surprised by how happy and awake she was.  She didn't make a peep the whole game.  She loves people, so this was her kind of place.  I loved the game too because we beat Washington State 30-6. The next day Brynlee turned 5 months old.  She's so cute that I end up taking lots of pictures of her.

 The day finally came for dance class to really start!  Now they were really excited! It's a closed dance class, which means that we can just watch from outside through the dirty window in the door.  They were so cute and so happy!  It was a joy to watch.  The last few minutes of the first class they opened the door so we could get a better look. One morning, Brynlee was on a strange nursing schedule, so I had to stop and feed her before heading back to Provo.  We stopped by the park in our soon to be neighborhood and the kids loved it!  It has a great little kid area and one for bigger kids too.  Hailey loved these black things and said she was jumping across the lily pads.  They also have a fun swing like the olden days tire swing, a green tunnel, and a steering wheel that Cougar stayed at almost the entire time we were there.  This kid loves cars and trucks! There was a lot going on that first week of school. The second day of school was the night of Cougar Kick-Off.  The kids looked so cute in their BYU clothes and loved being around other people who love BYU.  We waited for quite a while for these balloons.  Good thing I took a picture right after because Heidi's popped about 2 minutes later.  We were sad to find out that they waited until we moved away two years ago to start selling the cheer uniforms.  They have drastically dropped the price this year and there were no girl ones by the time we got there since they were selling them for $5 per piece. The next night was back-to-school night.  Heidi is standing next to the orange face she made and then under her #24 train.  I also got a picture that she painted of herself.  We got to find out all about what Heidi will be learning about this year and how her teacher does homework, take-home reading books and all sorts of other things.  H...
