Happy Easter Birthday Brynlee!

I have always loved Easter.  It is just crazy to me that I now have had 2 kids with a birthday on Easter. We woke up to a little note from the Easter Bunny explaining that he hid 10 eggs for each of the kids to find and also gave them some Beauty and the Beast toys and a new movie, as well as a few small things in their baskets. These are the things I made that week.  I made matching skirts for the 3 girls with hair bows, as well as a pillowcase dress for Brynlee because it was her birthday.  I am very pleased with how they all turned out. Brynlee is such a happy girl!  I really can't believe she is a year old! Hailey was very excited for Brynlee's birthday because she loves Brynlee and also because she knows that her birthday is the next one in our family.  She is such a good helper with Brynlee and is very good at making her laugh and smile. For this Easter I decided that Cougar would look like a big boy and wear a real shirt and tie (than...

Spring Game and Grammy's Egg Hunt

We got dressed and ready for a fun day. Brynlee looked so cute in her new skirt and bow that I made her.  Hailey and Heidi wanted to each take a turn taking a picture and being in one with their treats from Aaron and Elena that Dad came home with from his trip. We headed to the BYU egg hunt but were told that all the eggs were gone when we got there.  I was a little bugged because it was still 20 minutes until the egg hunt was supposed to start.  (We later learned that they had not done the little kid ones yet.) We saw all the people there and decided to just head over to the Spring Game and get some good seats.  It was a lot of fun and Heidi and Hailey had a blast running up and down the bleachers to the very top.  Hailey loves the color blue and decided to cheer for the blue.  She kept yelling, "Go blue!" into her poster, using it like a megaphone.  Cougar made friends with a guy there and played hide and seek, telling him to either co...

Boston and DC

Most times when Justin goes away for research it's just for a few days, but this time he wanted to get two in one shot since the time change is really annoying when going back and forth.  He left for 6 days this time and got back the day before Easter.  I've never been to Boston so I was a little jealous of the things and people he got to see. The Boston Tea Party boat  The City  The Stadium Harvard Business School where Aaron is studying.  He stayed with Aaron and Elena while there.    It's like the movies.  People really study here?  People rowing on the Charles River   A huge job site  They saved this whole wall so they could save this painting  They saved the windows and they're enclosed within the new windows  The stadium  These seats do not look comfy  On the field  The girls that took the picture made him take one this ...
