Spring Break at Wolf Creek

The first few days of spring break were great and my eyes were doing really well.  I had gone back to the eye doctor the Friday before and both my eyes were hurting so he put contacts in both eyes.  I was doing pretty good.  Then I went to a baby shower for two of my friends (with no sunglasses on) on Tuesday night and by the time I left my eyes just hurt.  I probably pushed myself too far and my eyes got way worse that night and by the morning they were still hurting.  I thought maybe I would still be able to drive at least to meet up with Heather and Jared since I wanted to drive up along with them since our car isn't the trustiest anymore.  I tried and just couldn't.  I can't even explain the pain that the sunshine has on my eyes when they are like this.  Luckily for me I have the nicest sister ever and they drove out here so she could drive me and the kids up to Wolf Creek.  I am so grateful to her and her family because it was so ...

April Snow???

After such a beautiful March, it was a little surprising to see snow the first week of April. The girls loved it and put their boots on and ran out to catch the bus.  I think they were sad that it was completely gone within a couple hours.  It was a good thing though because Heidi had her field trip to Harwood Farms the next day and they were going rain or shine (or snow). End of March: Kindy 500 and Brynlee is 2

We had fun at the end of March.  I still can't believe Brynlee is 2! Hailey got to go to Tyson's birthday party.  She had so much fun!  She brought her own little blue frosting cupcake. One of Weid's students has a paint sprayer so he came over and helped out and they painted the garage.  It was looking kind of strange at first, but as soon as it all dried it looks pretty good. We had dinner at my parents' house and celebrated the birthdays in March, including Brynlee's.  She loved the cake.  The kids also got some trinkets from Grammy and Grandpa that they brought back from their trip to Hawaii (which they got back from the day before Mindy's wedding). Grandma and Papa came over and brought all the stuff to decorate our trees with colorful plastic eggs.  It looked pretty good when they were done. Weid went to Washington DC for the week and I kept the kids busy here.  Hailey worked hard to get her car done for her school's Kin...
