The Weidmans

We had a great time with our cousins and were so sad when they were all gone. With so much time going to be spent lying around after surgery, we decided it was time to get a bigger television. Lacey was sad because we told her not to be around our new tv. We should have put her in another room. Instead, we removed the old one and took it to our room and then heard a crash. She had pushed the new tv over into the wall. We got a new one and got them both hung up and tried out our new DVD player with one of my favorite movies and now everyone is happy. At the library the little kids did A Million Cuddly Creatures where Brynlee even touched a bunny. The older group did Karate Kids and they each got to break a board. We got dressed and then went to Chick-fil-A for Cow Appreciation Day. It's honestly one of my favorite days of the year and the kids love it too. Many years the Weidmans get together in the summer over the 4th of July, so we took that opportunity this year to make it a special occasion and celebrate Brent and Terri's 50th wedding anniversary (which actually happened the year before while they were on their mission). We spent a lot of time together over that week. Their neighbors let us use their pool. Brynlee got some swimming help from her dad and Brenna (her favorite cousin). We also went up to a park up Provo Canyon. We ate food, played games and bubbles, watched a squirrel, and took some pictures with all of us that were there, of course. Heidi really liked being McCall's buddy, and almost everyone took turns taking Hap. At the park Tatum played with him a lot, which was such a help to me.
