We had a very fun weekend. We started off Saturday morning by putting up our outside Christmas lights, then we ate some blueberry pancakes, made some blue Kool-Aid, and got our blue clothes on ready for the big rivalry game. The game wasn't as good as it could have been, but really, what team does win when their quarterback has the worst game of their life and throws five interceptions and fumbles the ball. The weather is beautiful here, sunny everyday, and we have not seen snow yet. I can't believe it is November! We went on a walk the other day and I had to take my sweatshirt off because it was so warm and sunny (in the 60's). Hailey loved sitting up in the stroller instead of laying down. Our cute girls Hailey is sitting up very well now. She only falls over if what she wants to see is behind her. Every Thursday quite a few ladies in my ward go walking in the gym at the church. Heidi loves climbing up into her own chair, so it has been nice to put her and Hailey in on the same side, and then I go around and buckle her in. This Thursday, I was talking to my friends as I put the stroller in the car. So I hadn't buckled Heidi in yet, and then when I went to put the keys in, this is what I found: What a funny girl! Heidi in her Cougar Blue She loved her piggy tails, and she looked so cute with them. Hailey was very excited to go to the game again, after not going to the last two. Our little family after the game. Hailey did so great at the games. It was a lot of fun having her there. And it's been fun winning every home game for the last 3 years! Heidi went up to a craft fair with Grandma and Jodi. Once they found this ball, she wouldn't let go of it. Heidi loves horses. Apparently Heidi is learning to eat with a fork and knife. My mom showed me how to make bread when she was here to help me after I had Hailey, and I haven't bought bread since. It has been wonderful and delicious! The recipe is very easy and it can make bread, rolls, or cinnamon rolls. And Heidi loves to watch and help. These are delicious! A few months ago, gas prices were above $4.00 a gallon. As I passed the gas station that I always fill up at here in Grand Junction, gas was officially under $2.00, at $1.96 per gallon. Hooray!

She's getting so big! This is how I found Hailey Sunday morning. She had not only gotten out of her blanket, but out of her pajamas too. She is now 13 lbs. 7 oz. (10th percentile), and 24 3/4 in. (15th percentile). She is such a happy girl, as long as mommy is holding her. Heidi and Dad ready to watch BYU take on CSU. (luckily we won) My attempt at doing something other than a pony tail on top of Heidi's head. It was pretty cute, but she doesn't really have hair on the sides long enough to do anything with.

We had a really fun Halloween! I had fun dressing the girls up, and it was nice that Heidi still fit into her princess costume from last year. We had a little party at the church with some of the other kids in the nursery. We made some cookies, took lots of pictures, and Heidi went trick-or-treating to 5 houses this year. She didn't quite understand how it all worked, but she did like seeing all the kids come up to the door in their costumes. She got very excited every time the doorbell rang. It was funny to take her to the houses because once they opened the door she tried to walk into their house. And a few people just held out the bowl and wanted her to pick candy out of it. She picked the smallest piece in the bowl. Then one lady told her that she should take some more, but she didn't quite understand and put her candy back in the bowl. Oh well, I'm sure that next year will be a lot of fun! The girls looked really cute, and we had a fun day with our little princess and...
