June: Cougar's 12th Birthday, Campouts, and Cheer Spectacular

With no screens, the kids are outside together a lot and play tons of games. I love it so much. Brynlee (and all the kids) got a toothpaste squeezer at the orthodontist. The bows at the cheer clinic were made of the worst elastic that would just snap, with no stretch at all. So I volunteered to fix them. Some pliers and a glue gun fixed them right up. Cougar got to go out for breakfast with his dad on his birthday. He had an actual cake on his birthday. We had it pretty early in the day since he left for his Deacons Quorum campout that afternoon. They went to the same place as the Teachers, so he saw his dad there for part of it. Lacey and Hap were very entertaining on the trampoline. I have no idea how Lacey was doing her toe touches with one leg bent. We went to the reservoir for the second time of the summer, enjoying it while there weren't too many other people there.
