We had a good week at home preparing to go out of town for Thanksgiving. Hap decided he really likes this Mickey Mouse playset. I was happy to find Heidi at the piano, it had been a while. At story time that week they brought out the body of the turkey and asked what shape it was (expecting them to say oval) and Hap told me, "It looks like a potato." He said it loud enough that the librarians heard and called it the potato shape the entire story time. Weid had his semifinal game, I pureed pumpkins and made muffins, and the kids made a giant leaf pile and jumped in it. Hap wasn't so sure about jumping in but eventually did. I blew the rest of the leaves into a pile so I could mulch them. Hap still doesn't like loud noises but was fine playing out there once he put his ear muffs on.
