Another weekend is gone, which means we are closer to my mom coming. Only 2 days, we can't believe it! These girls love watching Team Umizoomi. This night Heidi grabbed the ends of her ribbon and started saying, "Milli measure!" The girls often say things like Team Umizoomi, like Heidi says she is 4 units tall (because she's 4) and Hailey says she's 2 units tall. Hailey also says, "I can slide down on my belly, belly, belly screen!" to get out of her booster seat at the table just like bot does on the show, but I'm not sure he ever slides on it. Hailey was so excited to get a balloon at the store instead of the usual sticker. And it was great that they tied it to this weight that can hook to you instead of having it around their wrist. Heidi was being a nice big sister and trying to lift Hailey up so she could ring the doorbell. She finally got it after holding on the inside wall and stretching up as tall as she could. The girls love being my big helpers in the kitchen. They especially loved "decorating" their own little pizzas. The girls have been asking to do bubbles for a while, and it's been pretty cold so we didn't let them until Saturday. They asked many times throughout the week and finally we gave in. I didn't think they'd stay out there very long because it was really cold, but they loved it and had a great time playing outside and in the snow. It took Hailey a little while to remember how to blow bubbles without putting her lips on the little wand. The girls in heaven blowing bubbles like they've been wanting all week. I have been wanting to make fruit pizza again since I made it for a lunch bunch a few months ago and finally decided to do it since I had a half container of cool whip in the fridge. I told the girls that after they ate lunch yesterday that they could decorate their fruit pizzas. I had cooked the cookie part the night before. I was just thinking that last year for my birthday the dessert I had my mom make was a fruit pizza. Maybe it's just this time of year or something. Heidi decorating her fruit pizza. After working very hard for 4 weeks, it was nice to have Weid home for a few days to just play and have fun. Luckily for the girls it snowed again. They were very sad that they couldn't go sledding for a while because the snow had all melted. Hailey saying, "Hi, Mom!" Hailey loved it! Heidi liked it too, but was mostly happy to just walk along the side that day. Heidi did get brave enough to make a snow angel. Hailey didn't want to that day. She was happy just kicking the snow around with her pink boots. She was very proud of it. Weid went to play basketball on Friday and saw that the cheerleaders practiced in the next gym. He talked to the coach about us coming in to stunt sometime for fun and he offered that they have extra tickets for most games. Weid emailed him and asked for 5 tickets because even infants need tickets and he emailed back to say they were in will call. We had so much fun! I turned 27 yesterday! It was a perfect day! Weid's test was turned in, but was finished the day before so he just turned it in from home and stayed home with me and the kids all day. He also found out he was published in a journal for a paper he wrote at BYU. Heidi sang to me many times. Weid took the girls shopping the day before with 1 dollar each to buy a present for me. She gave me a great present of Stauffer's iced animal cookies that I love and can only be found at Dollar Tree. Hailey is a Mommy's girl. She gave me an echo microphone that the girls love to play with. 3 beautiful kids and a wonderful husband, I am truly blessed! Weid gave me this shirt. We went out to eat for breakfast thanks to a card that came in the mail a few months ago for 2 free Grand Slam breakfasts for moving here.
