5 weeks old

Hailey is now 5 weeks old. She is so cute, and brings so much joy into our home. It has been a really fun month with our two girls. It is a lot more work to go anywhere, but completely worth it. We think Hailey is going to be taller than Heidi. She looks so long and skinny. Heidi helped her dad win his tennis match. My mom taught me how to make delicious bread when she was here. This one I made all by myself. We cleaned out the closet and Heidi found this awesome wig. We have been on quite a few walks lately. Heidi loves to go on walks so we got this double stroller and it has been wonderful. Heidi refused to take a nap on Memorial Day because she just wanted to keep playing. So this happened. Heidi loves to sit on the counter and get her hair done. She always says, "Up here", while pointing to the bathroom counter. And she loves her toothbrush. Heidi has really started to like Hailey. I hope that they are really great friends.

Well, I finally met some neighbors

After living here for two years, I finally met some more neighbors, but not exactly how I would have liked to. I stopped at the mailbox like I usually do, coming home from somewhere, and got the mail. I don't like to turn the car off to get out for only a few seconds, so I did what I normally do and manually unlocked my door and took the extra key for the mailbox that we have. Not the one connected to the rest of my keys like I should have taken. I went to get back in the car, and it was locked! How did that happen? So there I am with my mail, with my two kids locked in the car. Luckily they were both asleep, but I still had no way to get into the car, or of getting into my house about 100 feet away. So I had no choice but to try and use someone's phone (since mine was locked in the car). So I started knocking on doors. Two with no one home, then one lady who let me use her phone. Since it was a home phone, I called Justin's work phone since it is a local number. I called m...

Still cute...

Hailey is now two weeks old and is just as cute as ever. She has been a really good sleeper, and doesn't cry all that much which has been very nice. And Heidi likes being a big sister to give lots of kisses, and to tell me "cry" when Hailey is crying. She has come to be a very big helper with taking dirty diapers to the garbage can, and helps me hold Hailey just because she loves her. Hailey is very good at sleeping. Heidi in her new favorite chair, watching tv while I feed Hailey. She seems to be pretty flexible. My cute growing baby.

My Two Little Girls

Hailey is now 1 week old and Heidi is such a good big sister to her. My mom came out to help me, and it has been such a blessing. She made Heidi feel like a little princess each day as she spent time with her and made her hair look so cute. It was very nice to be able to focus on what I needed to learn and relearn without feeling too overwhelmed. But she left last night, so now I am on my own. But thanks to her, I think that we are going to do just great! Baby Hailey "Boo" (from Monsters, Inc.) My two cute girls! Big kisses from Heidi Sharing a shake with Grammy. Heidi in the bouncer, a favorite toy from a long time ago. Hailey soaking up the sun. Just the girls. A peaceful moment. I love my little girls!
