The End of June

Cougar's glasses broke while wrestling with Hap so we got out his other pair. They're different because they don't sit right on his face. I brought this orange shirt out of storage for Hap. He now calls it his soccer shirt because it has numbers on it. He wore himself out that day and I found him asleep on the floor in the hall. Cougar has really improved in baseball this year. It's fun to watch him pitch, hit, and play any position they ask him to. Grammy and Grandpa were able to come to lots more of his games this year with the temple closed and not many other sports happening. We spent quite a few nights sitting on the porch watching the sunset. Weid swept a lot at work that day. Lacey likes to come outside with me each morning as I check on the garden. I finally bought Brynlee a swimsuit since none of the other ones really fit her or they were super worn out. Lucky me, I waited just long enough for them to really go on sale at Costco. Father's Day and Work

We celebrated Father's Day at home with breakfast in bed, homemade cards, and a few presents. Weid went to work, watching the progress at the job sites from his tiny indoor office and also from his "luxurious" outdoor office. We did plenty of reading and reading lessons. Some of my free books came from the Kellogg's Feeding Reading program. I broke a sprinkler head while mowing the lawn. We played in the water in the backyard. I picked up the sprinkler to spray it at Lacey and she kept coming back for more.
