We welcomed the new year by shoveling and playing in the snow. It was perfect snow for a snowman. We drank green smoothies while simultaneously eating cookies because balance is good. The older kids went back to school and Grammy took Lacey on their date that she won at the service auction. They went to the library where they read a bunch of books and out to lunch. Hap helped me make cookies while it was just the two of us. We have pizza almost every Friday night and on the last pizza I usually like to try something a little new or different. This time it was stuffed crust which none of the kids liked all that much. They ate it and said it was fine but preferred normal crust. I thought it was good. Cougar brought home his newest ornament for the Christmas tree and Weid made a beautiful lighthouse ornament. Brynlee and I went to Eli's baptism and she got so excited that it will be her turn soon.
