CSU game

Finally a game that I can post about, even if it wasn't the best game ever. It was at least a win, and was fun to watch for at least the first quarter. We had a lot of fun at the game, and were so glad that my dad watched the girls so we could go. And the girls had a great time with Grandpa! Our little cheerleaders Hugging Ready for the game Scoreboard. I wanted to take a picture during the game when this lame advertisement came up about not having money for a ring, so get engaged over some Bajio dinner. How cheap are people? A cupie contest after the game It was a fun game and hopefully we can have more of these wins at home this year! Go Cougars!

A couple days in Logan

We were able to spend a couple days in Logan and it was so much fun. We were able to see lots of family, and I was able to visit my roommate from my freshman year in college, Jessica. The girls loved seeing their great grandparents. Grandpa Hap helping Heidi swing. It was so beautiful in their backyard. They have lots of bird feeders so there were birds there all the time. It was such a beautiful place for the girls to play. Heidi had fun on the swings Hailey loved the swings Me and Jess Our girls had lots of fun playing together Hailey really liked pushing around the lawn mower The girls with Great Grandpa Hap and Great Grandma Leah Heidi got some flowers with Grandma We're so glad we live here now so we are able to see family more often. We will have to make this trip again soon!

Hailey

Hailey is getting bigger and smarter every day! We were finally able to take her to the Allergist yesterday and she is definitely allergic to milk, eggs and peanuts. And cats too. So now we have an EpiPen. Hopefully we won't ever have to use it. She is almost 18 1/2 lbs. now and has 10 teeth. Here are some of the cute things Hailey has been doing over the last few months: *She now says quite a few words like Daddy, Heidi, uh-oh, thank you, ice, there it is, dog, Mommy, juice, this, cracker, and tricks. She loves to do tricks with her dad. Or even Mom if Dad isn't there. *She loves to shake her head to answer questions. *She points to her nose, eyes, ears, head, toes, teeth, belly button, and hair (or at least where it's supposed to be) *She loves playing with water bottles. Especially when I let her dump it all over herself. *She loves swimming and being in water. *She is adventurous and likes to stand on the rocking horse, little car, chairs, whatever she can clim...

Heidi

Heidi is such a smart, cute little girl. She went for her check-up today and is now 25 1/2 lbs. and 35 inches tall. Here are some of the cute things Heidi has been doing over the past few months: *She told me after I had gone through a yellow stop light that orange means stop. Green means go. *She opens the door from the garage into our house, puts her arm out directing us into the house and says, "All aboard!" *One day we were eating lunch and Hailey was taking her nap, so I brought out the Cheerios. Hailey is allergic and so she can't have them. Hailey woke up and joined us for lunch and Heidi wanted to share her Cheerios with Hailey very badly. She had about 10 on her plate and with each one she would ask me if she could share it with Hailey. "Can Hailey have this one?" is what she would say. I tried to explain that she couldn't have them because they would make Hailey very sick. She looked at me and said, "Hailey's not sick." And ...

She's 3!

Heidi got two birthday parties this year. One with my family, and one with Justin's family. All Heidi wanted for her birthday was for people to sing her the Happy Birthday song and to blow out the candles. So she was really happy that she was able to do it twice. Heidi is 3! I can't believe it! Heidi with her dairy-free cake so Hailey could have some. Blowing out her candles It was so cute, it took her six blows to get out the 3 candles. A present from Grandma Leah and Grandpa Hap. Another birthday party Heidi with her pink cake. Heidi is such a sweetie! I told her that the other day and she told me, "No mom, my name is Heidi". We love this cute little cougar fan!

Labor Day Weekend

We had a really fun Labor Day Weekend watching some college football (hooray, it's finally here!), Weid played some golf, going to the park, and being around family. The girls love playing on our stairs that are in this house, and were so excited to see their cousins from Arizona. Hailey was getting ready to cheer on the Cougars! After the Oklahoma game...go Cougars! Hailey playing at the park while daddy was golfing Playing together in our front yard. What a super weekend! It really couldn't have been any better!

Our future cheerleader

We told her to say "Go Cougars" just like Heidi does and this is what she did: She started laughing and then it got a little wild, but it was just so cute. As for other things, this is day 10 of potty training and Heidi woke up with a dry pull-up and we ran to the potty and she went within a few minutes. We are definitely seeing progress and I feel so hopeful about the situation now (if you would have asked me a few days ago I would not have guessed she would have come this far so fast). She loves to put stickers on her chart and hear what a big girl she is for going on the potty.
