Hap: 10 months

Hap is still our happy boy. He is about 19 1/2 lbs. He loves to watch people and keep watching them until they smile at him. Hap likes to chew on one or two fingers and doesn't have any teeth. He rolls around but still shows no interest in trying to crawl. His sleeping is better now and doesn't need me to hold him for him to sleep. He still wakes every 3 hours to eat, but now will go back to sleep in his bed. He has started to feed himself more, but still doesn't want anything I give him from a spoon. He loves to stand. He loves to be held. He loves to smile and make others smile. He is so cute sitting with his legs crossed at the ankles or lifted in the air. Hap's easy-going attitude and happy personality are a blessing for our family. We love him so much!

Friends, Swimming, and Fun

I found out Cari was in Utah for a while when she posted a picture of her with another friend from Blacksburg so we made a date to meet up. Crystal was also coming through that day so we met up with her family too. We now have 15 kids between the 3 of us! We lined them up by age (other than a few grumpy ones who didn't want to be in their spot) and took a picture and couldn't believe how many there are and how big they are. Our little Joy School girls are so grown up. It was so fun to catch up for a few hours. The kids all had so much fun playing with their old friends at this fun park.  The rest of the week the kids had fun at swimming lessons. It was easy to keep my eye on all of them since they were in the same corner of the pool. Brynlee was so brave and put her face in the water many times. Brynlee and Cougar got to sleepover at Grammy's and Brynlee's eye started being puffy for some unknown reason. It went away after a couple days. Hailey got to go to her new fri...

4th of July

We enjoyed the cul-de-sac of fire on the third. The kids enjoyed lots of treats, face paint, getting their nails painted, and lots of fireworks. Lacey was not happy until we put the ear muffs on her. She didn't like the fireworks and closed her eyes. We had fun talking to a few of our old neighbors. The kids looked super cute in their red, white, and blue. Between the fishy faces, picking noses, and closed eyes I'm not sure I got a good picture of all of them, but they're all there. I tried, so that counts for something. We went to the parade and had a blast. The snow cones and treats were yummy, the floats were fun and exciting, and Hap was so cute dabbing with the LaCombs (over and over again). We played in the water and celebrated the July birthdays. I might have missed the picture and made him pose again. Jamie helped fill balloons and then the little kids threw them out of the pool and popped them. Chloe and Lacey ended up matching since I've passed all my girl cl...
