We had a really fun last week in Utah. We kept pretty busy and tried to get as much done as we could and spend as much time with family as we could.
We were invited to a pool party across the street from the Weidman's. Heidi was given this blue jewel to play with and Heidi loved it. Hailey was going to go but then after she had her swim suit on she decided that she would rather sleep.
We went to the last family party for a while. Cougar's going to be as big as Grandma Vawdrey really soon at this rate!
Tuesday we played a lot and then Heidi went out for her birthday lunch with Grammy. They went to Wendy's and then went shopping for her birthday present and she picked out a number book and an ABC book.
Wednesday was our last day together for a while. Heidi played a lot outside with Jamie and Hailey. We had Cougar get his first shots and he didn't like it too much but didn't cry all that much either. He is such a great baby! That night around 11:00 when we left to go to my parents. Heidi started crying a lot. I guess she kept crying for about an hour. I think once they were on the road she got over it quickly, but she didn't like seeing me and Hailey and Cougar leaving without her.
Thursday morning Justin and Heidi left Provo about 4:00 am. About 6:30 that morning I got a call saying that he had hit a deer in Wyoming. What a great start to the trip. Not too much damage, but enough that the window doesn't work on the driver's side and the hood might not open. Estimate from fix-it place: $2000. Thank goodness for insurance.
While driving on Thursday Heidi was talking about being a grown up, "When I'm 10 or 11 or 12. Or like a giant, like 100 lbs."

Thursday was our last movie day. Me, Hailey, Cougar, Grammy, Heather and the boys went and saw the chipmunks movie. Then we had the regular dino-nuggets for lunch and played. It was kind of different not leaving afterward and having no Heidi there. That day my mom finished Cougar's baby blanket. I love this blanket, and especially for Cougar.
Friday was more fun driving than the day before. They went to the St. Louis arch and went up inside it.

Heidi was very willing to pose for pictures that day, probably so glad that she wasn't in the car ALL day like the day before.

Friday night we had a girls' night (Cougar came too). We went out to eat at The Pizza Factory, then watched Bride Wars and played some games. I brought some chicken nuggets from home so Hailey could eat something and then totally forgot that they probably didn't have ketchup at The Pizza Factory. Our waiter was nice and found us a huge bottle from the back. Phew. 
Saturday Justin and Heidi stopped at Jamie's house and Heidi played with her cousins. I think she had a lot of fun because she's talked about a lot since then.
We went to a couple of wedding receptions that night and these were our pictures that we took at Christina Nelson's reception. It was really great to see so many people from my home ward there. We also went to Robbie Judson's wedding reception and my BYU cheer coach, Nicole Pratt, was there with her family.
My mom taught me how to make one of these temples the last few days I was there. I started Friday and finished sometime Saturday. I now have a Mount Timpanogos Temple again since I gave mine away about a year ago.
Hailey is going to miss Grammy. Grammy was blowing on chicken nuggets and on Hailey's face. Hailey said, "Don't blow on me. Me not a chicken nugget."We had a very relaxing Sunday and then headed to the airport to leave for Virginia.
Us at the SLC Airport for our 12:50 am flight. I think I could have done it myself, but it sure was a lot easier with Terri along with us. Luckily we got to sit together. The hispanic lady on our row was almost not going to let her switch because she wanted a window seat only. Finally someone else was willing to sit in Terri's aisle seat and gave the lady their window seat. I just thought it was funny that she would rather sit in a window seat by a lady holding an infant and next to a 2 year old than sit a few rows back in the aisle.
Hailey woke up when we got to Atlanta. She was just happy to have her bread and some chips to eat at what would have been 4:00 in the morning.

Hailey was wide awake in Atlanta until we started to take off and then she was out. She wasn't awake for one minute of being off the ground.
