November

The first of November was a great day.  Our Cougars finally won another game beating Middle Tennessee 27-7 after a 4 game losing streak.  Weid had his competition team come over for dinner.  They had requested that I make pizza, so I did.  Saying they loved it would be an understatement.  They especially liked my Alfredo, chicken and bacon pizza.  It was nice to feel so appreciated for cooking. Lacey is growing so quickly.  I love all of her facial expressions.  That night was the end of daylight savings and it was so nice to have an extra hour to get ready for church.  We have been doing fine, but it's much easier with a newborn to have a little more time to get everyone ready in the morning, since feeding her has to fit in that time.  We finally bought a DVD/VCR player that weekend since we haven't had a working VCR in years.  Our DVD player broke so we were using a tiny portable one hooked up to the TV.  We decided to b...

Halloween

My mom wanted a Halloween party with the little kids who aren't in school on the 30th.  Before that, Cougar had his swim lessons. Cougar loves swimming and is getting better quickly.  He loves to jump in the water and can float on his back for a long time.  This day they used life jackets for a while to teach them how they work and how they would need to wear one if they were in a boat. We were a little early for the party so Cougar played outside.  The weather was great. The kids all looked so cute in their costumes.  Julia and her kids didn't make it because one of them was sick and didn't want to take a chance on Lacey getting sick.  They were not cooperating when we were trying to get a picture of them with Grammy. I wanted a picture of me and Lacey.  Brynlee and Cougar thought they were funny and kept jumping into the picture.  It was cute and I loved seeing their happy faces as they were being so silly. They played some ...

Ward Fall Party and Carving Pumpkins

The week of Halloween ended up having quite a few things going on.  It is always so much fun with kids. Cougar and Brynlee just crack me up all the time.  That one hour a week that we spend at the gymnastics facility can sometimes seem long, but these two are so great at playing with each other that it is sometimes my favorite part of the week.  They love to run laps around the couches, or just laugh and tickle each other.  Heidi is getting really good and got to take the trophy home for doing really well in class and for being the hardest worker in her class that week. Ever since St. George these two love to play Yahtzee.  Just about every morning these two play after they are all ready for school.  Sometimes they play after school, before dinner, after dinner, or any time they find a few minutes.  It's fun to watch them have fun and improve their math skills through a fun game. I decided to take pictures of the kids in their costumes bef...

6 Weeks and Date Night

Lacey turned 6 weeks old.  It happened so fast.  It seems like she's just always been part of our family. She was getting bigger and fitting more of her clothes.  As always, Brynlee was close by. Lacey does pretty well with tummy time.  She was pretty happy just laying there, showing the cute ruffles on her bum and then she just picked her head up and turned the other way. She got a little tired of just laying there trying to lift her head up so I put her in the high chair to help me make dinner.  I leaned it back but she's still pretty little so her body doesn't fit it right and it probably wasn't very comfortable. So that only lasted a few minutes. The girls didn't have school that Friday since it was the end of the term.  Jennifer Farnsworth took them and Cougar over to her house for a while to play and they loved it.  Then we went back to the pumpkin patch because they liked it so much.  Both Heidi and Hailey pet the sleeping ...
